You can find these pet-friendly grooming trucks in every city. Why not schedule them once a month and make an event out of it.
It doesn’t have to be Halloween to hold a costume contest. Why not hold a summer attire or even winter attire contest for that matter.
No explanation needed here.
This is being done at several communities. Dogs and drinks – why not?
Washing a dog can be real sore spot for pet owners. Giving them an easy way to do it outside of their own apartment is a huge benefit.
Take it a step further – 500 Lake Shore Drive has its own Dog City. Residents get off-site care, 24-hour walking services, dog sitting, grooming, training, and even customized home-cooked meals for their furry friends upon request.
Bainbridge Properties teamed up with Barkbox for dogs and KitNipBox for cats. These boxes are given as move-in gifts and have a sticker affixed to them that reads, “Bainbridge Loves Pets.”
Partner with a local vet to offer discounts to residents. Additionally have a monthly check up day for pets.
Bainbridge Properties is incorporating pet bars into its leasing offices that include treats, water dishes, pet photos and artwork.
You can partner with one of the online companies that offer small grass potty squares for doggy business. Makes sense if you’re in the city.
Think about complimenting your outdoor pet park with an indoor dog run, like they did at Optima Chicago Center Apartments.
You need a place to have your pet policy online plus all the great photos you’ll take implementing the above ideas. Why not create a pet blog for your community?
Any of the social events and partnerships like having a vet come out for monthly check ups are items you can implement now. Keep in mind, when implementing any of these ideas, make sure to take photos to document the fun. You can then recycle these photos on social media, your website and even your collateral.
